Courage

Encouragement plays a major role in developing belief in yourself and brings about greater effort to accomplish goals. Companies who strive for high performance apply encouragement.

What is encouragement?

Encouragement literally means to create courage in someone. Offering words of encouragement is a powerful tool. Great leaders encourage others to believe in themselves, to become confident, to grow and make positive changes in their lives.

How do you apply encouragement?

Become an encourager by inspiring others through kindness, true praise, fairness, and appreciation. Acknowledge potential in another person in an area in which they were unaware. Then challenge them and support them with a plan to succeed. Be specific and sincere with the goal.

Why it matters?

Authentic encouragement helps people overcome fear and build morale. It sets the example to build each other up. The confidence to face challenges comes into place. The gift of encouragement can transform people and circumstances while creating the desire to take positive, forward thinking action.

Encouragement establishes hope. When you encourage others, you encourage yourself. You become stronger and influence others to believe in themselves and to do the right thing.

Believe in you. Make a meaningful difference in someone’s life today.
