Persistence

How Do You Grow Through the Power of Persistence?

Many business owners struggle with strategies to develop persistence in achieving their goals. They see others work with such diligence and never give up. Understanding some of the factors in the power of persistence will give this clarity.

“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” – Calvin Coolidge

What is Persistence?

The conventional definition of persistence is: “Refusing to give up or let go; persevering obstinately; firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.”

The power of persistence, even in the face of adversity, is the true mark of champions. Indeed, those who achieve great things are those who do not know when to quit. They have a vision of the future that’s so compelling they would give almost anything to make it happen.

How to Develop Persistence & Achieve Success

  1. Decide what you want to accomplish, set goals and target dates.
  2. Prepare for obstacles and setbacks.
  3. Determine your motivation.

  10. Celebrate. You know what it took to get there!

Factors to Consider to Grow Through Persistence

The power of the mindset of persistence matters significantly. It will motivate and sustain you to take consistent action with extreme determination. Consistency of action will produce your desired results!

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” – Dale Carnegie
